Cell therapy encompasses a broad spectrum of clinical procedures that use biological products, whether freshly obtained or previously stored, as regenerative medicine tools to replace or repair cells that have been damaged as a result of the natural aging process, or even those caused by due to some type of trauma or illness.
Among the most common cell therapies are exosomes, amniotic fluid, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and, of course, the use of adult mesenchymal stem cells (MSC).
